Public Affairs

Having covered the federal government from both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue—as well as a major regulatory agency and two state legislatures back in the day as a cub reporter—affords me a unique insight into the policymaking process at all levels.

We're talking the good, the bad and the ugly.
I may not be a registered lobbyist, but I have a very particular set of skills to help advance advocacy goals.

Here are just a few of them:

  • Crafting targeted media strategies in support of specific policy objectives
  • Performing issue-specific landscape analyses to identify the state of play, sticking points, key players and what is—and isn't—realistically possible
  • Drafting legislative testimony and talking points
  • Analyzing bill drafts and providing guidance on public positioning
